Choir FestInterest Groups

The Unitarian Church North Fellowship Committee organizes activities throughout the year and all are welcome to join. Participating in an area of interest is a good way to get involved and to meet people in the community. This year’s events include “Pajama Sunday,” a reception after the Christmas Eve services and a Cinco de Mayo celebration. Check out the Northliner newsletter and the weekly E-News announcements for current activities.
  • Book Group- Book group meets once a month at the church to discuss selected readings. Please see the calendar for each month's selection.
  • Choir-If you enjoy singing with a group, please consider joining UCN's choir. In addition to providing much appreciated music for a number of Sunday services throughout the year, you'll have the opportunity to sing with the combined choirs of the seven Southeast Wisconsin Unitarian Universalist Congregrations (SEWUUC) at ChoralFest, which takes place annually in February. The choir rehearses on Sunday mornings before the service and occasional Thursday nights. No audition needed; all are welcome!
  • Guy Breakfast-Join an informal men's group for breakfast and conversation on the last Friday of every month at 8:00 AM. This group gathers at Glen Cafe, which is located at 6823 N. Green Bay Avenue in Glendale, on the corner of Green Bay and Green Tree. Please contact Mike Arnow at 414-390-3739 if you have any questions.
  • Ladies Lunch and Levity Society-Meet for lunch and conversation the second Monday of every month at noon. This group meets at the Mequon Fiddlehead's.

Ongoing Activities

  • Chalice Circles- Groups of 8-10 people meet regularly every 3-5 weeks as a small community within the church, with a defined structure and process. They agree to explore various topics of a spiritual nature. Facilitators for the groups are trained and supported. Look for the "Chalice Circles" brochure in the church pamphlet rack; it contains a registration form to be returned to the church office.
