Classes for All Ages

Unitarian Church North offers a variety of learning opportunities. Unitarian Universalism encourages "seeking" and individual formulation of beliefs. To support this construct, UCN offers classes for children and adults throughout the year.

Religious Education for Children

Unitarian Universalism refer to their "Sunday school" program as Religious Education, because children learn about a large variety of topics, including other religions. We offer Sunday morning Religious Education for Preschool - High School on the following schedule:

  • Preschool, Kindergarten and Grades 1-5 may attend classes at the 9:15 AM service
  • Grades 1-5, Middle School and High School may attend RE classes at the 11:00 AM services.

Spiritual Enrichment for Adults

UCN offers adult spiritual enrichment classes of one to thirteen weeks in duration on various topics. If you are interested in finding out about these, email or call the church and we will provide you with information. We hope you take this opportunity to explore new horizons within a warm and caring community.

"The goal of adult religious education is to develop our minds as well as our hearts; our intellect as well as our souls. This personal and theological growth leads to the individual becoming more fully human."” Rev. Bill Murray

UCN Interest Groups and Events

The Unitarian Church North Fellowship Committee organizes activities throughout the year and all are welcome to join. Participating in an area of interest is a good way to get involved and to meet people in the community. This past events have included “Pajama Sunday,” a reception after the Christmas Eve services and a Cinco de Mayo celebration. Events are posted on this website, The Northliner newsletter and the weekly Friday Flyer email news announcements. To receive a copy of the Northliner, or to join our Friday Flyer email list, please Contact Us.
