Rev. Elena L. Rigg Unitarian Church North, deeply rooted in the Jewish and Christian traditions, yet open to religious insight from many sources, honors the individual spiritual search of every person. At the same time, we honor the importance of being together as a religious community, for it is in the creation of community that our faith is most truly revealed. If you are visiting our home page from the greater Milwaukee area, I invite you to visit us in person some Sunday morning. Our service starts at 10:30 AM during most of the year but at 9:30 AM from the third Sunday in June through Labor Day Sunday. Although you will find our worship services are a little different from Sunday to Sunday, I hope that our Unitarian Universalist message of openness, community, gratitude, justice, compassion, and service will be evident. If you visit with children or youth, they may join you for our worship service or they may attend one of our religious education classes. Our children's religious education classes meet at the same time as the church service; our high school youth meet after the service. If you are interested in reading more about Unitarian Universalism, I would suggest A Chosen Faith: An Introduction to Unitarian Universalism, by John Buehrens and Forrester Church (Boston: Beacon Press, 1998). You may order online using thelink above or through: Unitarian Universalist
Association Bookstore, 25 Beacon St., If you are visiting our home page from a location where there is no convenient Unitarian Universalist church, you may be interested in learning more about the Church of the Larger Fellowship, the Unitarian Universalist church-by-mail for isolated Unitarian Universalists around the world.
