Our minister, the Rev. Elena Rigg, has served Unitarian Church North since 1998. UCN is Elena' s first settled ministry. Before moving to Wisconsin, she served as interim minister in Montgomery, Alabama--a one-year position following her graduation from seminary and her ordination into the Unitarian Universalist ministry.

Elena likes to say that ministry is her final--and most loved--career. A Unitarian Universalist for over twenty-five years, she earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Maryland. During her other careers, she was a high school English teacher and a Corporate Human Resources Specialist. After leaving full-time Corporate employment in 1994, Elena attended the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Master's of Divinity in 1997.
