Sharing the Plate

Each month, UCN shares half of its cash donations with a charitable organization. In February our offering will go to Friends of Ngong Road to support Veronicah, a child in Kenya.

Our support has provided her with an education and other advantages that thousands of other children in the Kibera slums of Nairobi will never have. Vicki Fuerstenau learned of this project four years ago and nominated it for Sharing The Plate. She has had the opportunity to visit Friends of Ngong Road and report on the many ways this program affects Veronicah's life. They exchange letters frequently throughout the year.
